We are looking at building our first home, current house is getting a little to small for our and ever growing collection of crap.

Not a starter home, but maybe not necessarily a forever home either. Definitely a home our kids can grow up in though.

Has anyone built with Level Homes? We have looked at mainly DSLD and Level, but like what Level has to offer more.

Never built a house with them but had a business relationship with them. Seem like top notch guys.

Avoid DSLD like the plague.

Level was very tempting when we were in the market but we fell in love with an existing home instead

I built a home with Level in Ascension Parish about 6 years ago.

Pro - they offer alot of nice options as standards (granite counter tops, glass backsplashes, etc.) and also offer alot of upgrade options.

Cons - alot of their sub contractors did "sloppy work" - the attention to detail wasn't there on a number of items. Also, their "customer service" after the sale (that they pride themselves on) is horrendous....they don't stand behind their "warranty".

Would I build with them again? Honestly, probably not.
