Sprayed grass with Celsius and MSMA a few weeks ago. Bermuda grass wasn’t well established yet due to hauling dirt and it being a new build. Weeds were growing, so I decided to spray and get a head start for next year. Bermuda has taken a slight hit due to the stress of being sprayed with no rain. Did put down a little triple 13 but need a little rain. Did I do more harm than good? Will my Bermuda come back strong once temperatures drop a little and we get some rain? Looks like shite right now with the weeds dead and grass browning but thinking ahead for next year. Plan on spraying a pre emergent next year.

It’ll likely come back, but definitely stunted by this heat and drought. I’ve actually held off spraying and fertilizing the last few weeks because I don’t want to stress it further. Sucks because I really want to push some growth, but can’t do that when it’s 100+ and no rain for weeks.

I think it will as well, but I sprayed, thinking we would have gotten rain since then. This heat has been ridiculous.

Definitely this

I've yielded to laying fertilizer because of the drought. I prefer it rained in. I'm about 3 weeks behind on it now.

I gave up on weed control and fertilizer. I can’t water certain spots enough ( haven’t rehabbed well enough from Ida where trees and stumps were removed and hardpan was left).

I just cut it high and wait for better conditions.
