Not true. Only during times that nobody needs to be on the roads. I’ve heard bad things about trying to get to and from Destrehan during normal work commute hours.

River Ridge or Harahan area, but back yards are small. Had to offer more than asking price to get your choice of houses. But sure is great way to get to NOLA schools and work.

Belle Chasse is great if you can get over the fact that people will group your area as “the West Bank”

North Shore if you can get over crossing the lake every day

Old Gretna is decent but you’d have to send your kids to private school

Pretty typical.

Most people living in Destr....I mean Ormond consider Kenner to be New Orleans.
