Nice!! A lot of questions on outdoor kitchens and patios on the forum today. We just finished ours up about 2 months ago and we are loving it. Can’t wait for football season with the fall weather. Here’s few pics of our add on.

something like that will change your day for sure. It will be great to hang out under

100% built ours 3 years ago. Very expensive, but I'd do it again. Tripled our usable space out there.

I just love looking out the window and seeing it.

Incredble to spend time outside watching sports when the seasons break.

I went and found the post just to check it out. I think you did what you could with that area. In order to tie that into the roof, it would’ve cost an arm and a leg cause you would’ve had to rip up the roof on both sides to build 2 big crickets. This would’ve introduced other risks. It looks fine and overall I bet it totally changed that space from unbearably hot to functional and cozy. Not bad bro

What is the make and model of your ceiling fans? Do they provide sufficient air flow? I have 2 52 inch wet rated Hunter ceiling fans that are pretty worthless. Looking to replace them. Can probably go as big as 60 inches.
Thanks.

72” hunter (Solaria I believe) and they are fantastic. At first I wasn’t sure if I wanted them that low, but glad I did bc I can definitely feel the air flow

just looked at it from the link you posted. looks good to me. it's a tight space, and you had limited options. like someone else said, you woudl have either had to do what you did or spent 50 grand basically reconstructing the back half of your house.

I don't think it looks "cheap". I just don't like being able to see a space between the roof and the cover.

Ah. That doesn't bother us at all other than some light splashing off the roof. I am hoping new, larger gutters prevent some of that
