Gas lantern low flame

My gas lantern’s flame is really low even with the valve fully open. I dismantled as per youtube video. No success. Even lit with nozzle off with just the valve. Any recommendations on how to get an improved flame? TIA

Mine gets low when dirt builds up. I usually use floss and a toothbrush to clean it out and it’s back to normal. If you took it all apart and still have a problem then I don’t know.

Mine was super low for a while. I did similar in terms of cleaning, using floss, wire brush, etc. No luck. I had just turned them both off for months. Determined it had to be in the tubing.
I closed the valve in the attic and disconnected the tubing on both ends. Then used my air compressor to blow out the lines (could also use canned air). It had a fair amount of foulant that I was able to clear and that restored my flame.

Search for “gas light flame adjustment” and it will tell you all you need to know.
As the others say, your problem is probably some carbon built up in the burner tip, so clean that out first.

I dismantled and cleaned the tip. Even lit it without tip attached. Still low.

May need to try this on mine. I'm having the same problem as OP, and have cleaned the tip multiple times with floss, a sharp knife, etc. with no change.
