You will need to find one that sells to the public and not wholesale only. Doug Young and Poole Bros. are popular ones open to the public, but like going along the back roads and finding small local nurseries. Just depends on what you are looking for.

Agree with Young and Poole. I don't like the selection or health of the plants at Holloway. Be aware that most of the nurseries along the main roads don't sell to the general public. Wonder how the recent cold snap affected FH nurseries?

A lot of plant loss is what happened. My neighbor is a manager at one of the nurseries and he told me that they lost a total of 40 greenhouses worth of stuff. He said there were others who lost as much if not more.

Just only so much you can do when you operate a large nursery and have all those greenhouses. I don't think any of them could have afforded to cover them all and stick heaters in them. Even if they did have heat, the power outage for 4 days meant that option was gone until Cleco turned the power back on. We got ours back around 4 on Saturday afternoon.

Not the time to go to Forest Hill. Give them a few months to recover.
