Coworkers all have backpack foggers saying its the only way. I have a small 1 gallon hand pump sprayer for a 1 acre yard. Is the $350-500 investment worth it for the fogger?

I have a fogger and fog for mosquitos. I fog a large area, bushes, low trees, etc. and have no issues with them for almost a month after I spray. I can't imagine covering ground with a regualr sprayer.

It's not the only way, but it's the best way.

We us the stihl mister blowers for our mosquito sprays. They have 2 different sizes. You can also use it for a regular blower too.

I can't offer an opinion on a fogger but get yourself a battery powered sprayer. They are a game changer. I do not have nearly an acre but I can spray my entire yard so much quicker with the powered sprayer as opposed to my old hand pump.

We had a pretty bad mosquito problem at our house. Tried the butane powered fogger with a variety of different chemicals. Then bought a 4-gallon backpack sprayer to mist another series of chemical, herbs, and other snake oils. The fogger seemed to work the best but the effects only seemed to last a day or two at best.

Finally caved in and now have a mosquito control company come to our house every 3-weeks to treat. Something about the life/egg cycle is why they recommend treating every 21-days. After about 3 months of them coming out, the improvement is drastically better. They use the gas powered backpack foggers.

If you do it yourself, go ahead and get your neighbors yards as well.

Frick my neighbor. Yankee POS. Seems like foggers have merits. Thanks for input.

I bought this to attach to my blower. It works pretty good.
