Floors buckling from humidity under crawl space.

I placed a fan at the entrance of the crawl space and cleared any air blockages around the house. Will the fan help the situation or am I hurting things? I took a quick look and did not notice any leaks.
My guess is that from the freeze in February we never did open ventilation around the house completely. So when the floods came in the spring the water never fully dried out and the heat has been blazing over the last couple of months. It’s a theory but it’s all I got.
Wondering really if opening ventilation and using the fan will help the floors lay back down?

Fan isn’t going to do anything at this point. Going to have to wait for winter for humidity to drop enough to see what floors do. I got lucky and we had a really cold winter after that happened to mine and it was enough the floors improved and I spray foamed the crawl space. If it’s getting bad enough to do something sooner you can look at a company like Servpro putting big dehumidifiers down there but it was very expensive.

I had this problem at my old house. I put a couple air mover fans around the perimeter. It took 3 weeks of straight running, but it did work.

Now would be a good time to check your water heater TPR valve to see if it needs replacing, especially if it terminates under the house. It might be fine, but I'd make sure given your floor issue.

No this is a good theory. We had poor ventilation and then a fridge that leaked… caused floors to buckle.
