Flooring retailer, haggling

The better half (no pics) has gone through the process of getting a quote for some new flooring for a couple rooms from one of the chain retailers. Should I expect them to come down at all? Any CarpetOne tricks to share?

I did not get one at LL flooring ( formerly Lumber Liquidators)
However the LVP we got was "on sale" at the time , for what it's worth. Or not worth

I wouldn’t expect to be able to haggle but it can’t hurt. There’s normally a quote that includes the flooring price and the labor price.

You can do what I did. Buy all the material and pay some dudes sitting under the tree of a local Home Depot to have you come and rip up the old floor and out down new floor. Just over $6/sq foot. We did wood look tile in our downstairs front Floor & Decor. The tile itself was under $2/sq foot but looks better than the higher priced tile of similar style and was exactly what we wanted. Only issue we had was they didn't have a chipping hammer to get out the old flooring (half wood, half tile) so we rented one for a few hours.
I hope you know someone that speaks Spanish.

More information. Location, what’s on the floors now, what do want to put down to replace?
