Two labs got out three days ago for a couple of hours.
Last night noticed fleas on them and in their sleeping area inside the house.

Give me your best flea treatment for them and the house. They have not been on a flea treatment.

Wash dogs and bedding. Bomb your house and then bomb it again in 3 weeks. You need to bomb again as original bombing will not kill unlatched eggs. Treat your yard, then treat again in 3 weeks.

Get your dogs on comfortis.

If there is a Pestop near you go there and tell them your issue. They will sell you what you need.

You can give your dogs a Capstar which will kill any adult fleas on them within a few hours, then put them on a monthly flea treatment. We use Advantage II but there are many brands out there.

For the house treatment I bought a can of this to have on hand in case of your scenario. Haven't had to use it yet.

My 02 cents. Good luck.

You can also bathe them in dish soap to kill adult fleas but in my experience they still find places to hide to avoid the soap.

The vets have a pill that will kill in half a day. It works from then on. Bathe your dogs. Don’t bomb your house. If a flea does hatch from an egg they’ll die when exposed to your dog. They’d rather be on your dog than you.

I agree to give Capstar now then switch to a monthly treatment. We use Trifexis.

Bravecto from your vet. One chewable tablet works for 3 months.
