DIY Thermacell Cartridge Refill

Newer Thermacells have cartridges, anyone figured out the material and how to refill? I like the new 120 hour cartridge but would rather not pay $55 if can refill

I’ve found knockoff blue pads on eBay, but not the gas cartridges yet. shite’s expensive, but I’m not going in the woods in the early season without 1 or 2.
The ones in your link look like I’d have to ditch the current 5-6 units I have to buy the ones using this. That isn’t a commitment I want to make right now.

I've refilled mine a bunch of times. The hardest part is figuring out the right tip for the butane bottle, so very easy to do and does save a lot of money.

Saw that new cartridge for the first time when I went to buy some refills of the older ones. Damn sure hope they don’t transition to these new ones 100% and I have to replace the old Thermacell units I have.
