Anybody know of a good shop that isnt going to cost both nuts?

You could save a few bucks by purchasing the part first. Get your installation estimate by stating you'll supply the part. I've used Walker Exhaust & Muffler quite a few times.

You sure it’s a catalytic converter and not another issue? If you have a bad cat, might be another issue that caused it to fail, assuming it wasn’t stolen.
Good shop I can recommend is AgCo Automotive on Coursey Blvd. They aren’t cheap but probably no more than any other quality shop. But they will diagnosis your problem first before quoting you a price to repair. They only work by appointment though.
