Plants look great. Still not producing. They have been in the ground for at least 3 months. Don’t remember exactly when I planted. Anything I can do?

Pics? Where do you live and when do you start your Spring garden?

Don't know how many years you've made a garden, but I've been at it for well over 20 and there are years when things that did great the year before just failed the following year.

Summer of 19, I was picking at least 50 habanero peppers a week. I planted 6 habs this spring and didn't get one pepper off them this time around.

It's just how it goes sometimes. Next time, plant a different variety from the ones you planted this year and see if that helps.

But after 3 months, you should have already gotten the main heads off the broccoli and have side shoots coming in and also picking cabbages too.

Are your cabbages making heads?

The green heads are getting real big right now with some of them at least the size of a soccer ball. The red are about the size of a baseball right now, but they always form slower, and smaller than the green cabbages is my experience with them.

I planted mine in the middle of Sept. and should be harvesting around Christmas. I cut the last of the broccoli and cauliflower today. It has a lot to do with the variety you plant.

You didn't pull the broccoli plants, did you? After they make the main head, they produce side shoots for several weeks afterwards for an extended harvest.

Cabbages and cauliflower are one and done and I pull them as I harvest the heads.

Gumbo, I had to laugh at your comment. I didn't cut the broccoli down. I have had gardens for over 40 years. And I learn something new every cycle. I now use raised beds but father-in-law and I had 3 acres before he passed.

Fun fact. Broccoli greens are some of the best greens in the planet. Seriously, harvest the head and cook down the greens like mustard greens.

Well over 20 for me just at this house alone and closer to 30 total. I have a backyard garden that had 5 rows 50 ft. long, 3 trellises and one 48 sq. ft. raised bed for root crops.

Ideally, I'd like no more than half an acre total.

Yep, but any green works. I've done broccoli and cauliflower greens cooked down. For true greens, I favor Georgia Collards and have 6 plants in my garden now that I've harvested leaves off of 3 times already and getting ready to pick more. I'm the only one in my house who eats them, so I do give them away from time to time.

Amen! I also use mine for making dolmades -- replace the grape leaf w/ a broccoli leaf.

Yeah my broccoli bolted on a couple plants. The others have small heads. Cauliflower seems to be doing well. I planted more broccoli and cabbage yesterday and installed netting around raised bed to keep squirrels out. Started thinning them out yesterday.

I have planted diplomats and they are so-so. Pacman and Green Comet perform the best for me.
