Would it be fungi? Fungi could mean we covered multiple fungi of one fungus but we discussed multiple fungi issues of several fungus’. Either way there is a fungus among us.

Fun aside and more directed to your question: you’ll be fine. Since grass growth has slowed tremendously you won’t see much recovery this year. Fungicides won’t stress lawns at all but you don’t want to overapply for resistance reasons.

Thanks, ronk.
I purchased a couple bags of Scott's Disease Ex. Now I have decided to hold off until April or so to put it down.
Presently, the grass is still full of Brown Patch. It's disheartening because of the money dished out in June for the sod to be laid.

I applied a liquid (hose attachment) fungus control aimed at Brown Patch 3 days ago - still no indication of the brown deteriorating. Should it be or am I expecting too much too soon?
I had brown patch last year, i applied an anti-fungal on it. You may be expecting too much if you want it to correct itself this year. Next year you should be good.
I did notice a new circle over the last week. With it getting colder and the grass starting to die, i'm not worried about it. From my understanding, at least in my case, my brown spot is due to being a low area of my yard and it retaining moisture. I deplugged that area last year as well, and i still have trouble. I'm going to put down some sand this winter to stave off another year of brown spot next year.

I used disease ex as well, along with deplugging the area to get better drainage. (see post above)
