I’m not sure which model we have but I have a Bosch that’s less than a year old and it’s a quiet cleaning machine.

We bought an 800 to replace a 16 year old GE Profile that was original to our house. I’ve been using the new washer for about a week now. It cleans great but does feel cheaply made compared to my old GE. It runs very quiet but drains really loud. My wife likes the light on the floor but wishes she could see how much time is left until the dishes are done. She absolutely hates the stainless. It shows fingerprints and smudges really easy. I had problems with the legs when I hooked it up. I raised them as high as they would go but they weren’t high enough to fit my cabinet despite measuring my cabinet prior to buying the washer. The inside looks very small but it does hold a lot if you load the washer right. We have been using the top rack for utensils and have taken the two baskets out of the bottom rack just to try. My wife is leaning towards taking the top rack out and putting the two baskets back in. We have moved the different racks around but a 16 ounce Yeti cup will not fit on the middle rack with it lowered. If the middle rack is lowered then our plates or larger items hit the bottom of the middle rack so we’re probably going to get rid of the top rack all together. Overall, I was expecting more out of this washer considering its price and reviews. I’m just not sure if a cheaper dishwasher would be any better.

We just bought and installed a 800 series Bosch and don’t have any complaints. For fingerprints and smudges clean it with a water / vinegar mix. Make sure clean in the direction of the grain in the stainless. Once dry use car wax to seal in the surface and assist in preventing more fingerprints. I tried a few and Meguiars NXT worked the best for me.
