Best material for weatherstripping around old door?

I have an old house with an old door and frame with irregular sized gaps and deteriorating brass spring weather stripping that needs to be replaced.
It is the single plane variety like this,

but I am also looking at one like this vee shaped one

I would also consider a foam/rubber/neoprene style, but due to the irregular gap width, I would expect difficulty finding the right thickness and give that would seal well without making the door difficult to close, or getting a memory. And most are applied using adhesive exclusively, suggesting short life.
I'd like it to be robust and as unobtrusive as the bronze springs and well-sealing.
If bronze is still the best way to go, those products above look great, but the shipping is understandingly high (8ft box), and Id prefer to find it locally.
What is the best solution? Locally or on-line? (Baton Rouge)
I am aslo replacing the old sweep and adding an under-door seal.

Go to Lowes, just did all my outside doors. It was about $45 per door to do but it was the thick weatherstripping.

Thanks man. I've been working on an evil plot to lure you over here to help me brainstorm my planned workshop. Try to look surprised

Some might remember Former LSU Baseball player Clint Earnhart, his Dad Mike was the best at Weatherstripping in the Area. Mike passed away in 2019. Great guy. It's almost a lost art.
