Bathroom vent fan: Can a CFM 50 motor be replaced with CFM 70 if same brand?

I have an ancient Nuvent bathroom fan. Motor is dead. Can it be upgraded with a CFM 70 fan? Couldn't find anywhere is the fan was actually bigger or just better motor.

I wasn't sure if there was a different fan model for each CFM speed

I replaced the fan motor in my ancient Broan recently. I think the only difference is the better motor. The fan is just a little plastic paddle. If you can, bring the motor with you to the hardware store and compare them side by side. That's what I did to make sure it fit.
