Thankful that my Pops made me do this growing up. It felt stupid back then but damn it's nice to know exactly where to find something when you need it.

Learn when it’s time to “call the man,” when something requires skill or knowledge beyond your ability. Your real ability.

Make it a point to get to know your neighbors. offer your services or your expertise to them. They will return the favor. I live on a cul de sac. My across the street to the left is an HVAC tech, across the street owns a ups store, to the left an electrical engineer, the right is a computer guy, and at the end of the cul de sac is a pop restaurant owner and beer maker.

They all have a fantastic lawn.
