I like the way they have more multi sized tabs/dragon’s teeth per shingle than the other brands. (I’m female, so am likely over thinking it.)
I’ve looked at atlas pinnacle pristine. They partnered with scotchguard to prevent streaking/algae and have the longest warranty pertaining to that.
I’ve also looked at timberline gaf hdz.
Just trying to figure out if the certainteed landmark pro do ok in south Louisiana’s climate. Are they comparable to the other brands?

Yes. They are a decent shingle. Atlas and CT are the only shingles I install

I'm not sure what Atlas shingles were recently replaced on our 26 year old roof, but they seemed a good bit thicker and more quality than our new Certainteed Landmark shingles (which were not the Pro version). Maybe the Pro version is thicker, but I am not impressed with the standard Certainteed Landmark shingles.
I base this on the fact that I get on our roof a couple of times a year to blow off leaves and small sticks and limbs in our heavily wooded lot. The older 26 year old Atlas shingles, even though hail damaged and in need of replacement, were thicker and I especially notice this when I walk up a hip line where additional shingles form the intersection of the roof planes on a hip roof. The Atlas hip line shingles were much sturdier. I feel like the standard Certainteed Landmark shingles are cheaper and more fragile in comparison. Hopefully their Pro version is a good bit thicker and stronger.
I personally would go with the Atlas shingles with Scotchgard, if I could go back in time and make sure the quality was as good as what I had before with regard to thickness and quality.
