Anyone have any experience with Tamko Titan shingles?

I'm in the midst of getting bids for my roof replacement from several local contractors. The first guy came out today and gave an estimate using Tamko Titan shingles, which I know nothing about.
Tamko seems to be fairly beleaguered online however the Titan shingle seems to be well thought of, just wondering if anyone has them or any experience with them.
Having another contractor come out and he said he'd use Owens Corning Duration, which seem to be well thought of.

I put them on my house after Ida, and they have held up well.
They are heavy shingles that seem well built.
ETA: definitely better build quality than the standard titan shingle. Rated for 160mph if I remember correctly

Tamko is not a great shingle. The Titan is now a class 3 impact resistant shingle which is nice in theory but it really only meets that criteria because standards changed. It went from a bottom tier architectural to a class 3 by doing nothing. There are better options out there IMO. I like companies that are doing more innovative stuff with their shingle lines like Malarkey and Atlas.
I will say, Tamko holds up really well in wind, not so much to hail. They have a wide nail zone and have a strip on the back of their shingle that makes it feel glued on.
I'd personally ask your roofer if he puts on another manufacturer in addition to Tamko that might be an option.
I'm sure it will be fine, I've put on Tamko's before by homeowners request.
Honestly part of the reason that I'm not a Tamko fan as well though is that we've only installed a handful of them over the years and we've had two manufacturer default claims that Tamko had to make right. I've had two claims from Malarkey over the years but we've also put on probably 1,000 roofs
People will say a shingle is a shingle, any of them will work. Which is true to a certain extent, but some are better than others. But I'm in an area that installs 90% Certainteed, which is imo, the worst of them all. I will avoid ranting about certainteed since they weren't mentioned

Tamko is not a good shingle.
I would not put it on a dog house.
They do okay in wind, but downright awful when it comes to hail and just normal wear and tear.
Certainteed
Malarkey
Atlas
Is what I would go with.
