Anyone ever dealt with getting rid of Purple Heart plant?

The people who previously lived at my house put in Purple Heart at one spot in my flower bed. I’ve tried to kill it multiple times but the shite keeps coming back. Anyone ever gotten rid of it? Am I going to have to turn over my soil to kill it off?

RM 18 from tractor supply will kill it if you put a squirt of dish soap in the sprayer. In fact, I haven’t found anything yet it wouldn’t kill if you can get to stick to the leaves.

Great tip in the dish soap. I have a small bottle I keep with the sprayer I use.
