Same here. I used "weed and feed" granules about 2 months ago and it barely made a dent in the weeds. Educated myself a little more and decided on doing the weed part by itself using a liquid concentrate (foliar spray) that will kill through the leaves and not the roots like the granules. Supposedly the liquid works much better, keeping my fingers crossed. I know I have clover, dollarweed, dallis grass (such a PITA), thistle, and probably a few others. The weeds were far worse this year than any previous year that we've been here.

I've had a lot of success with MSM Turf and a surfactant on dollar weed in St. Aug. Takes a couple of weeks but works well.

I've read the reviews which seemed overall really good for this product, especially for the price. I like that you can buy a 2 oz bottle of this stuff for under $20 if you only need like one application. MSM Turf 2 oz - Amazon

They have several other "commercial" grade herbicides in 8-10 oz bottles like Blindside, Celsius, etc...but they're all super expensive (over $100) because you're paying for a bigger bottle as opposed to the MSM.

Also, Tenacity had some really good reviews and is only $60 for an 8 oz bottle, so about half the cost of the others I listed above. Syngenta Tenacity 8 oz - Amazon

You're using this MSM for spot treatment? How are you mixing/applying it?

.04 oz per gallon, I believe. They have a measuring cup for it.

MSM is an amazing product. There's hardly a broadleaf out there it won't kill. Cheap, too. Have to be careful under trees though, it can harm trees if repeatedly sprayed around the root system.

Msm will work and Celsius will work faster. They have a waxy leaf so you’ll have to use a surfactant
