Anderson's Barricade Preemergent Herbicide

With the cooler temps coming, I'm hoping to apply my first round ever of preemergent herbicide to my common bermuda.
Since it's cheaper than Prodiamine or Dithiopyr, I'm hoping to use Anderson's 0.48 Barricade Herbicide. Does anyone here have any good/bad experience with this stuff? I'm in the Houston area, if that matters.

I also like the idea of a broadcasted granular application opposed to a spray. I'm not sure if there is one type of application that is better than the other.

I have never used Anderson's but prodiamine is the active ingredient in Barricade.

It will be fine - follow the label directions for application rates and watering in post application.
Granular vs spray - matter of personal choice, I’ve used both and see no difference aside from the fact I can put spray in some tight areas of my yard that is hard to reach with granular. I also prefer to apply granular - just a logistics thing for me. Spray versions are going to be cheaper per 1000 sq ft of lawn.

I use it on my Celebration Bermuda (hybrid) and it works great. I did a split application in the spring and that turned out better for me than a single application.

I've used it this spring and it was good. I also did a split application as well but I'm using Dithiopyr in a split application this week due to the anticipate drop in soil temperature.
