Affordable Aquatic Glyphosate

What are you using for aquatic friendly glyphosate that's not expensive? I don't need much. The vinegar/salt/soap doesn't seem to be killing it.

Are you asking if glyphosate that's ok to spray into water where living things are? If so, I don't know if that even exists. Glyphosate is excellent at killing vegetation but it's also pretty good at harming living animals too.

Rodeo, Aquamaster, AquaNeat, Eraser AQ, Refuge, Roundup Custom, and there are others, are glyphosate products labeled for use in aquatic habitats. Internet search for the least expensive in the quantity (container size) you need. Most should be about 54% glyphosate active ingredient.

There are several aquatic safe options, but they are expensive. I found something at the coop for about $39. Aqua-Vet I believe. I swapped out vehicles so I could run by and get some mulch that on sale, so if that is not the correct name I will correct it when I get home.

You can expect to pay double for the “aquatic label. I typically just use the farmworks brand from tractor supply…

I've used shoreline defense before and it works well but its very expensive.
Are you spraying around a pond or something? Past couple of years I've been spraying RM43 around my pond and never have noticed anything dead or any difference in fishing. Supposedly the surfactant can get in the eyes of the fish. I'm just very careful about limiting how much might get in the water.

I don’t think this is true…there is basically no toxicity information on glyphosate for either humans or animals.
