And FWIW, here is a recap of some of the opinionsI stated that 3520 seems to decipher as flaming:


1. Matt Jones is a more physically gifted QB than Tim Tebow
2. Percey Harvin is a better player than Tim Tebow
3. Conference pride is irrational
4. Florida was lucky in the 1st half that Oklahoma did not have 10-14 points
5. Tim Tebow is overrated
6. All we learned tonight is that Florida is better than OU, not that Florida is the best team in the nation
7. The BCS is flawed


Again 3520, I can see the other side to all of these arguments and if any of them offend you I apologize. Let's have a debate about it, let's not come on here and accuse the person making these assertions of flaming when this is not the case.

Cocks issue with me is not my posting, it is my political opinions. He is entitled to disagree with my political opinions but I don't see how thats grounds for me being banned.

There is nothing outlandish or outrageous about any of those opinions. People watch sports and make observations and some peoples observations vary from others. Just because I see games differently than another person, and just because that person feels I am "stupid" for seeing the game differently does not mean I am not entitled to observe the game in that fashion.

Matt Jones is a physical freak of nature, just check out his NFL combine statistics.

Making that statement sounds idiotic in hindsight. Because Matt Jones never had a great team around him and in his senior year went 5-6. Tebow has had great athletes around him and has a Heisman Trophy + 2 national titles, one as a starter and one as a backup.


But again, this is when we view things in hindsight. I would prefer Jones' elusiveness and explosive style of running over Tebow's power running. Tebow may be a more accurate passer, but I don't find that particularly relevant as a lot of his throws are easy due to time alotted by the offensive line (even if the pocket broke down, Jones has the elusiveness to evade pressure) and the speed and athleticism Florida has at TE and WR make for many easy throws, masking Jones' shaky accuracy.

So my basic opinon is that if we plug in Matt Jones into Floridas' system instead of Tim Tebow, Florida would actually be a better team. I can't prove this, but it technically cannot be disproved either. Just an opinion, I don't have to prove an opinion.

Again, this is all a "what if" opinion of mine, just my humble opinion.
