Yeah I get that, but does it really mean something on here? Does it make him less of an online personality? No.

Does it inhibit him in any way online? Nah. Everyone has something about themselves that everyone else rags on (majority does anyway).

My point is that whether Chris annoys you as a poster or not, he adds personality and value to this site as a poster and shows lurkers and others around that this site is so good it is worth spending every moment you are awake on here.

I wonder how the admins feel knowing they stripped possibly the only happy part of a life of a handicapped individual.

Poor guy gets made fun of and looked at differently on the daily, and this could be his only refuge where his handicap makes no difference.

They stripped him of that. Tsk.

I actually agree with this.

But it's partly his fault. If he would just learn that he doesn't have to reply to every single OT thread, that he shouldn't start threads beginning with "Have you ever...", and maybe he should take a break from starting threads at all.

Let him come back and put him on Non-thread-starting probation, and with a post ceiling of 30 or so per day.

A battle of insults gives him more of a level playing field.

I think that's a good idea. No starting threads (which I think was somewhat of a stipulation in his reinstatement) and no more than 50 posts per day.

I will say, when he first came back this time, he was going by these rules. Not sure if self-imposed, but he stated it in his first posts.

By day 2, he was breaking both.

he has been banned for the same thing over and over. he should have seen it coming. he either doesnt care (which i highly doubt) or is too dumb to realize that he was on a short leash when he came back.

people were even telling him to chill out with the posts. when you post over 100x a day you kinda attract a lot of attention. and the attention he usually attracts isnt the good kind

While these limitations are a good idea, you're speaking as though we're dealing with reasonable moderators. If they cared about fairness to posters like Oweo, they would tell him exactly what he's doing wrong, not say, "We are reviewing your history for quality assurance." They would allow him to respond to their accusations. They would seek to make an amenable contract with the said poster. They would want to resolve the issues rather than give a punishment that doesn't seek to rehabilitate the offender.

Instead, I picture a forum of moderators who see their power as a game, something to hoard over others. Behind closed doors, this cyber good ole boys club is filled with the smoke of nefarious one-liners about how they're going to ban so-and-so a poster just to get a rise. Or just for spite.

There is a better way.

Do you think the admins should punish someone from the enjoyment of this web site theyve created?

Moreover, they've created this site in the hope that people would love it and keep coming back for more. And now that they have that with Chris, they want to punish him for something that they once could only hope for. (ends with a prep but IDGAF)

All good points. If they were starving for traffic, they'd beg for a poster like Oweo. In the spirit of Christian fellowship, I beseech the moderators to reinstate the compulsively energetic, needy, and fun Oweo. Characters like him make the OT.

Here's a trade for the admin to consider:

I will give up my posting privileges if you allow OweO to post.

Because I know the happiness posting on the OT brings to OweO is far greater than the happiness I receive. If the admin want a fall guy, someone who must pay for transgressions, I will be that guy.
