It's not as if we see every single thread immediately when posted, then wait to anchor it.
I would imagine that the thread you're talking about was anchored because there seems to be a daily cop bashing thread on the OT, which leads to the same tired argument everyday. This isn't a "news" outlet or an outlet that claims to be an underground source for what the mainstream media refuses to report on. So, if you think that is what the OT is, then you might want to look for another place to get you news from.

Man, you're dense. It's an Off Topic Board on an LSU message board. You'd have to ask Chicken for the expressed meaning of the board, but IMO it is for entertainment, and not to explicitly "report" on news. Does it happen from time to time - of course, but I don't see the OT as some underground message board that is responsible for feeding the faces of some that claim the mainstream media is sweeping stories under the rug.
If you want that kind of news, then I'm sure there are all kinds of sites you could visit to find out how much of an a-hole some cop is in Des Moines, Iowa.
