The anchoring on the PT is concerning

It seems that the vast majority of the threads on the PT that are getting anchored are threads that are critical of Trump
This is concerning to me
And if "fake news" is the rationale behind the anchoring, who is deciding which thread are fake news and which are real? Anonymous admins?
What has always drawn me to this MB is the lack of totalitarian oversight by the admins, please don't start being heavy handed

I'm concerned about how or why one might decide what is "fake news"
the current thread in which inspired this thread, was not actually fake news, but rather a misleading headline by the poster and he was called out for such
last Friday, several threads were anchored that had good discussion, were not troll threads, and were not fake news, they were just critical of Trump

No. I think the board moderates that well enough on its own.
Plus the issue with the multiple threads last week that received an anchor for no obvious reasons

2) article that uses fake quote from Soros
3) OP states that the Chief charged the girl, which is misleading, he did not charge the girl
and again, I don't care about these threads, I just care about consistency

Don't know, but the article never states the chief was who charged the girl, just that the mom claims he was part of the case
