CITWIT was an old timer around here. We're all going to miss him.

I did not know about CW's passing away. Sorry to hear it.

I didn't know either until the thread today.
Sad to hear for sure.

I don't frequent the boards where he posted, so I was not familiar with him as a poster...but I do get a bit sad every time I see a long-term poster pass away...
RIP, CITWITT...

How did he die? That dude used to say some random stuff on the politics board.

I never really interacted with CITWTT -- all I can recall is jokingly referring to him as NITWTT (did he ever explain the meaning of his screen name?)
As I said my interaction with him was minimal, but as with Donne's tolling of the bell, every time a poster passes it reduces the site a little

It is a strange thing having a message board acquaintance die. Regular people wouldn't understand.

Yes, a history of heart trouble according to his posts and some emails to me. He was living on borrowed time for some years the way he explained it. Had a great attitude considering the condition he described to me. Passionate guy.

I knew him IRL briefly. He told me that his screen name stood for Cajun in the wrong tiger town.

Thanks for that info!!!

Would you know how to send an email to one of his family members with links to the threads about him? I found a business address for a few of them, but not email. I guess I could send the links in a letter. I don't want to freak these folks out, though.

No kidding? Better name than I ever gave it credit for.

I remember him telling me something similar. We had a misunderstanding of words once on the food board, I called him Nitwit, he cussed me up and down and went on to explain what his name was.

He was definitely a character and will be missed.

I'm sorry, I don't...
