Actually we would prefer a permanent Weather Board. Between hurricane season, thunderstorms practically year-round in the South (with tornadoes a plenty), and snow/ice storms during winter, there's plenty of activity 24/7/365. (Not to mention the next time the Mississippi River floods, the constant talk about whether this is the one that diverts it into the Atchafalaya and ends Morgan City as we know it)
Thus freeing up the O-T Lounge to be what it was designed to be--the cesspool of the instawebz.

I think you are wrong. I see the OT as the pulse of the people. The issues that are most pertinent to the populace at the time will take prevalence. Whatever the big issue is, you'll see a ton of threads dealing with it.
A better suggestion would be to have a "babe board" for all the WYHI threads and the like. Open the OT up for real discussion.
