A lot of that has to do with the shortage of horses out there right nw. They are scraping bottom to fill 5-7 horse races with horses that have underlying issues but need to run.
The track is fricked but it’s a strange surface in the best of times anyway. I’m very interested in the necropsy findings.

Agreed on this for sure, too many people trying to be cute whenever these threads get started on other boards. Really just want a board where everyone can share stats/picks/trends/insight.

so you have never wagered in your life? or any sport? horses? nothing? Do you understand what a spread is in football? moneyline? puckline in hockey? etc?
You had best get started studying. search online or go to a gamblers website that sells books so you can learn. there are easily 30 strategies for football alone.
i have my own system for NHL right now that is working good. I will use it on MLB also. There are plenty good sportsbooks online you can use.

Can we do a SWOT analysis of adding a gambling board?
Strengths - More traffic to the site which is good for everyone
Weakness - none? Gambling is legal in some states, but some judgmental people look down on it?
Opportunities - More traffic thus more advertisements thus more $$$$. Do not know of any other major sports boards with gambling boards/discussions. Make deals with companies that want to focus ads towards degenerate gamblers, which is proving to be an abundance
Threats - None?

i have actually been looking for a good sports gambling forum. chicken could pounce on this market. not sure about demand but you would think it could be high, he could get ads for golden nugget and others in biloxi and lake charles. new laws now allow all those casinos to have sportsbooks! where before it was just vegas and offshore sportsbooks receiving sports wagers.
hell somebody else may take this and run with it and create their own board.
