Question for Chicken--Have you ever considered putting a live scores ticker

At the top or bottom of the webpage?
It would be helpful for keeping up with multiple games at once that aren't on local television, or with OP's that don't update the in-game threads.

I like it. You could still have game threads, but the scores would always be right, and people wouldn't be leaving the site to find the real score.

I'd like that. I've been having to go to cbssports to see scores. I'm sure there is a reason he don't have it though. Might take up too much space or something I don't know about

There has got to be some type of feed offered out there that Chicken can tie into the site.

There are score/data feeds; but from what I've seen, they aren't cheap.

Ok, I have an idea for it that Could work if implemented properly and with the right people. Attach to the ticker a single (or group) name, the ticker only being able to be edited by members of this group. It would need volunteers, but this group could constantly update the ticker with up to date scores. I think with enough diverse fans on this site, and trusted ticker group members, we could have a functional ticker at little to no cost.
Anyway, that's just my 2 cents.
