Poli Board stalker

Is there anyway to get a Poli Board creep to stop bringing up personal info about me when I have not talked to him off-board ever and have not responded to him on TD in over three years. I am also pretty sure he has been warned to stop bringing up personal info about me in the past. Pretty creepy stuff, really.

How does he know these personal things?

Well, this is just creepy!

I think he's referring to me, L.A.
If it is unacceptable to point out someone's hypocrisy between what they post on the Poli Board and how they actually live their personal life, then I'll accept that and cease pointing out that poster's hypocrisy.
And the information I learned about GMorgan is based on the information he has provided on this site. So it's not like I had to go out of my way to learn about him. I certainly didn't 'stalk' him.
And for the record, I already edited my post a couple of hours ago just to remove the 'personal' aspects of my question and make it a generic question.

ETA: If GMorgan is not referring to me, never mind.

And while we're on the topic of posting personal information, could you please try to determine how WikiTiger learned my name? I've never posted my name anywhere on this site yet a few months ago he referenced my name in a response to me on the Money Board. I didn't RA when it happened.
I know Wiki is a computer expert so, has the TD.com been hacked recently where someone may have been able to access the email address of record for posters?
The email address on file with TD contains my name. When I post an email address on this board I use one that doesn't have my name associated with it in any way.
Thanks.
(I emailed Rummy not long after it happened but he couldn't figure out how wiki learned my name.)

Russian, I'll bring this to the attention of Circus/Chicken. They might be able to get an answer for you.

Thank you.
After posting my question to you above, I remembered that wiki didn't actually post my IRL name, he posted my name's initials, which leads me to believe he has learned my name somehow.
I just wanted to clarify that in case it helps someone figure out how he might have done it.
I assume admins don't share a poster's personal info with other posters, right? That's not how it might have happened, I hope.
Anyway, thanks again.

When one person creepily stalks another's LinkedIn account, it shows who has viewed the profile, fyi.

here's the email I just sent to chicken regarding how I know LSURussian's name. Long story short, LSURussian is a creepy stalker:
quote:
I know LSURussian's name because he is a creepy stalker who harasses friends of mine.
In one of his stalking activities, he used LinkedIn to stalk Gmorgan. Apparently LSURussian didn't know that LinkedIn tells people who viewed their profile. So Gmorgan got a notice that "***** *****" had viewed his profile. He didn't know who that was so he googled the name and figured out quickly who it was.
Gmorgan and I are buddies and occasionally chat and so he let me know LSURussian's name.
You should also ask LSURussian how he knows my initials. The only reason he knows that I know his initials are because he posted mine first and I responded with his.
Here's the post I'm referring to: LINK

Also, FWIW, Gmorgan is not the only person that LSURussian has stalked from this site. I know of at least 2 others.

You replied to yourself so I'm not sure who your comment was directed towards but if was to me, I don't know if wiki has a LinkedIn account or what the name is on it if he has one, so I'm pretty sure that's not how he got my name.
If you're accusing me of looking at your LinkedIn account (which I don't remember doing) I only view my own LinkedIn account about twice a year. I refuse all email invites to be associated to my LinkedIn account for the very reason that I don't use it. On the rare occasion when I view my account, it often offers suggestions for who I might know that I should invite to be associated with my account. I have no idea how LinkedIn knows who I might know to offer those suggestions, but they obviously have some method of connecting common people.
I do know that two of the "suggested" persons that website has made to me are posters on TD. But how the connection is made is a mystery to me. I refused both of those suggestions.
As far as how I learned about your job, as I recall it was during a game PBP thread last baseball season when someone asked in the thread why you weren't doing the PBP threads any more. Someone, who I assume knows you IRL, said it was because you had taken a job with a national tax preparation service (they mentioned the name of the company but I don't recall who it was) and you were working long hours because it was tax season.
I found that amusing considering your long history of referring to paying taxes as "theft" by use of force. So when I read your post last night continuing your meme about the IRS being thugs who steal from us taxpayers, I asked you if it was true you worked last year for a national tax preparation service and, if so, does that mean you're an accomplice to the IRS thuggery.
But let's say I did view your LinkedIN account. So what? If you put your personal info on the internet don't whine when someone sees it. That's just dumb.
But thanks for the information. I'm going to delete my LinkedIn account now.
ETA: I just closed my LinkedIN account. I haven't viewed my page in a long, long time and it was interesting that I had been visited within the last 3 months by three people, all of whom I think are TD posters. One I'm sure of because he has frequently posted his city and employer and that info was on the profile of the person who visited my page. (He had actually visited my LinkedIN page 6 times over the past 3 months. I'm not sure what he was trying to learn by doing that.) The other two are LSU fans who I've never heard of, so by process of elimination. BTW, GMorgan, you weren't one of them so I'm not sure when you visited my page.
I also learned just now when LinkedIn says your page has been visited by someone and if you want to know who it was it forces you to click on a link to their LinkedIn home page.
I was curious so I clicked on the three links. I can only assume those three people will now be notified that I visited their LinkedIn page. So, they probably will now say I stalked them.
Isn't the internet wonderful?!?
