How do you post a picture so it shows instead of just showing "Link?"

> search for image
> right click and copy image link
> click reply/post
> find "img" button (it's below link and above B)
> look at pop up
> paste link into pop up
> click "ok"
> click "Submit"

Can pictures stored in dropbox be posted?
I have had no success getting pictures to post that are stored there. Either LINK displays, a little box, or the actual url, depending on various things I tried.
I'm starting to think I needs to do something on dropbox to make the image shareable/viewable.
I can get images to post, or at least some. Just not mine that are stored on dropbox.
