and as such.... admins got sick of him and banned him for the second time. I also endorsed that ban(and i have never called for anyone to be banned before so that speaks volumes about how bad OTD was). enough was enough. it all stemmed from his starting new threads here
on the help board. it had nothing to do with his hackish postings on PT.
DA was and is terrible and i have never asked for him to be banned.

He deserved to be banned because he was complaining on the help board about other posters? I'm just trying to wrap my head around what was so egregious that he needed to be banned.
What puzzles me even further is a Political Board that claims to be conservative or libertarian wanting to silence dissenting voices. I don't see any reason for banning other than something along the lines of posting porn.

For the record I asked that he not be banned and after he was banned I started a thread on here that he be reinstated quickly.
To show how much influence I have on here, my thread got whacked in about 2 minutes.

I remember that. I don't understand why some of these yuckheads want people like otto and Rex gone. They make the board WAY more entertaining.

I agree with your sentiment, but the answer is because, in true liberal fashion, these guys can't have nice things. They take their moderate and acceptable trolling and then turn it into blatant and gratuitous spamming of the board.
