Not able to highlight specific parts of posts on mobile

Over the last few days I've noticed that I haven't been able to select specific parts of posts to copy/paste on mobile, it forces me to select the entire post and won't even let me in select parts of it after I have it highlighted.
It makes it really tedious when you are trying to only quote a part of a post and not the whole thing.

I can't do it with the update. I could only get it to on occasion before. I can't zoom on the mobile board at all.

This new update sucks, sometimes when I single click it opens all my apps like I double clicked

I'm having the same problem after updating to IOS8 earlier in the week.
What's worse is that it also causes the phone to start auto scrolling down the page, or flashing rapidly. This typically happens until an error message pops up and the page reloads.
I never had a problem like this before updating to the new OS.
