re: Name Change

1. Why would you like your name changed?

My username is too similar to my real name. I want to have a more anonymous username. Initially I picked a username that would be easy to remember, but having my real name as my username isn't something that I want to have anymore, and is in conflict with privacy. I do understand the first commandment of "DO choose your user name carefully when you first register" but I was probably too cavalier in reading that when I initially signed up for Tigerdroppings. I understand it now and I apologize for not being attentive to that when I first signed up.

2. How did you choose your current username?

My current username is based on my real name. I picked it because it would be easy to remember. That's basically it. I also couldn't think of anything creative at the time.

3. Who is your favorite admin and why?

Chicken, because without him this website would not exist. Tigerdroppings is where I get nearly all of my LSU/SEC news. Without Tigerdroppings, I don't know where I would be albe to get all my LSU/SEC news so conveniently. Chicken also seems willing to give constructive criticism in cleaning up the boards and to better organize/improve posts.

CaptainsWafer isn't a half bad admin either.

4. What would you like your name changed to?

I want to change my name to:

KingSmo

5. How did you choose your proposed user name?

When I was working in the naval shipyard a few summers ago, I saw a lot of non-smoking signs. I rearranged the syllables in the word "smoking" to come up with "KingSmo." I thought it sounded kind of cool and it brings back memories of working in the shipyard, which is my favorite place I've worked at.

A lot of times when I'm bored I'll rearrange letters in words to see if I can come up with anything interesting. So KingSmo came from a combination of observation and sentimentalism.

6. Why is it important that your name is changed?

My name now isn't conducive to privacy. I want to have some anonymity to those I do not know on a public forum. I'd rather not use my name in a large-scale public environment.

7. Why did you not read the TD.com commandments, specifically the first, prior to registering as a user?

I have to admit that I was too cavalier in looking over the guidelines before registering. I should have looked over the guidelines before doing so. My excitement of registering for an LSU/SEC message board clouded my discernment in reading all of the rules beforehand, so for that I apologize.

would you be okay with circus child coming up with your new name? he's quite clever.
