The bowl is the bottom part of the carb.
Held on by one large bolt.
Bolt has a small gasket on it and the bowl has an o-ring.
Make sure both of these go back on properly
BTW- I too have a rear engine snapper with B&S engine.
The fuel cutoff switch fixed mine for good after I cleaned the carb
Everything for the carb including the fuel cut off switch can be had at home depot.
Held on by one large bolt.

Problem with those Snappers though is the gas tank cap has a metal bottom that rusts and the rust gets into the fuel and it's just a matter of time before it somehow gets into the carb.
