Is this board moderated?

We're kind of at a really deep valley in morale right now.

We as a fan base are miserable

I started same thread last week. Be prepared to be anchored. But I totally agree with you. It's so boring . Then baseball season will be here and the ELL clan will be here and you want be able to say one single word about baseball without getting ganged raped. This site needs new blood seriously.

Fans are dissapointed. LSU has great, fantastic potential and should compete for the NC year in and year out. But we have a horrible coach who rode on the fumes of a great program that he inherited for years. Now it's his program, top to bottom, and just look at it.

I feel sorry for anyone who has such unrealistic expectations that they are this disappointed over our team's output this year.

Championships don't define football programs. Fortunately we have those too.

What would you like? That we delete all posts that are not supportive? There are two reasons as to why that is not a good strategy.

1) This is a message board, and not a kiss-arse, agree with everything LSU does board. Sometimes the majority of posts will be positive, sometimes they will be negative. As of now, we are obviously in a negative pattern.

2) Not to speak for the owners but, even as a "sunshine pumper", I can see that there are issues that need to be addressed. Therefore, I have no intention to suppress people's comments, as long as they are not inflammatory, offensive, or just blatantly retarded.

This site, in my opinion is to TALK about LSU sports, not to necessarily support LSU sports. I think, over the years, we have been very good at giving the board latitude to express its collective opinion, and I don't se it being any different right now. That said, if you think something crosses a line, then RA the post/thread and we will take a look at it. I can't promise that we will do what you would like, but someone will look at it.

You don't think anyone can be disappointed in a 7-3 unranked team that is being led by a coach who has yet to prove that he can win when in counts?

I feel sorry with someone that has such insanely low expectations that he would never dare criticize a program.
