Is there anything that can be done about audio ads?

Most of my viewing is done at work, so I don't have ad blockers or anything like that. I understand the need for ads for revenue, and that's perfectly fine. But in the last 2 days, about every other page I go to there is an audio ad that autoplays at the bottom of the screen, and sometimes there are 2, so I'll pause/mute one then the other will start. It is incredibly annoying, and it just started yesterday.
Does anyone else have this problem?

Turn down the volume on your computer.

Your name should be changed to CaptainObvious.
Yes, I have already done that. But I like having my volume on. I was asking if there was some way to replace the audio ads with standard text ads.

We don't mean to have audio ads. Looking into it. I always browse with audio muted since many sites have audio (eg, ESPN). Anyhow, what browser are you using?

Thanks Chicken. It's Internet Explorer, which I know sucks. But it's the regular ol' company issued computer so I can't really download firefox or anything else.

I bring this to Chicken's attention at least twice a week.
