I would like to have a cars/trucks board

Could talk classic cars, buying tips, repairs/mods, personal experiences with different vehicles. Would also encompass motorcycles, boats, jet skis, snow machines and really anything with a motor that moves you. Transportation board maybe?

Well so can a bunch of other stuff in which there are already about 10 standalone boards for. I think an Automotive Board would get more traffic than most of those.

I get where you’re coming from. I’m sure you see a lot of board requests. But I really think an Automotive Board should have been one of the first spin-off boards and I don’t think that’s such an off-the-wall notion. Just my 2 cents.

I’m now thinking Automotive Board. It might not necessarily be “a hit” but I can definitely see it getting decent traffic.

Yea I would like one as well, and that’s my line upvote in the OP. I just don’t think it’ll ever happen.
I try to read all of the automotive threads on the OT, but if we keep taking topics away it’ll get even worse IMO.

I can see your point, but sometimes cool niche posts on O-T get buried under bloat junk that DtG posts so people who would post in the niche topics threads won’t see them.
