How do you know you got a PM?

Showed up at the top of my screen (In on mobile) with the option to Dismiss it, and no other options.

Scolding? Most of the ones I get are quite encouraging. The last one was, “Great thought! TF). Don’t know what TF means, perhaps Tom Fitzmorris?, but the sentiment warmed my heart. I think the mods have softened over the years and now the majority of private messages are kindly notes of affection and admiration. The ones who are abusive, abrasive and unpleasant are not long for the land of power.

Once you delete an admin message it can’t be retrieved.
