How about a sticky on the voting links thread on the rant

More people enter the site via the home page than any of the page...way more.
I have the Band vote on the home page. It is an actual meaningful vote as the band stands to make some money. The Miles and Scott votes are pretty much insignificant. Rather than clutter the board with meaningless "vote for this" threads, what is wrong with putting it on the home page?

Butch, let me mull this...I don't want to be a party pooper, but these polls are getting out of hand...and I don't want to be expected to leave them stickied on the site for more than a day...so I don't know if stickying them really helps.

Yes...but how long do you keep it stickied? These polls, besides the Band poll, will be going on all year. No way I leave it up for two months...

Fair enough. Then how about leaving one "Official" poll thread unanchored. That way it doesn't clutter, you can just anchor/delete every other thread, and it can be bumped during the lull every week before the games start.

That one OFFICIAL POLL THREAD can be started by JGG and have links to all of the polls.
It can look just like the Recruiting Board sticky thread.
