Does anyone really know what time it is? Do the TD Gods really care at all?.

I want to update the email TD has for me because I no longer use it... And don't have access to it anymore.

However, seems like I remember it couldn't be a gmail, etc type. It had to be one through work, school, or ISP provider, etc.

And I noticed this message that came up when I went to change it.

quote:

If you update your email address, your account will become inactive until your new email address is verified. A verification email will be sent to you shortly after submitting your change. To reactivate your account, click on the activation link in the verification email.

so if I update it to a gmail address will I be ok???

Don't wanna lose my username and account.

thanks... Chicken, Rummy, Ice, Fred or whoever answers.

Why would one need to update an email account on here?

Well it came to my attention that a poster lost/forgot his password. And the only way to reset it was by sending a message to his registered email. But that email was a work email that had been deleted. So he had to start a new username after talking with the TD Gods.

I don't wanna go through that, so just taking precautions. I don't think I'd forget my password... but I drink... so???

just change it to password1, no one will ever figure it out.

I remember some one a few years ago went through a bunch of accounts just trying this and was able to gain access to a surprising number of accounts.

Well I never logout. Also I just think it would be a good idea to have the right email set up for a site I visit so often. shite happens, figured I'd try and plan ahead for it.

To the OP. Just write down your ID and password for this site and tape it to a piece of paper underneath your computer desk's keyboard. You might want to write down all your ID and passwords for every single site you have a ID and password too. And if you tape underneath your Desk's keyboard's roll out drawer(I assume you have one) it can be hidden/no one will know it's there/no one can see it/but you can have retrieval if you lose one very easy.

=problem solved...

My WiFi password at my house is 12345678, makes it easy to remember for something meaningless like that. I wouldn't use it for TD, but it's something I rarely have to use the password for.

I am having this same issue. I apparently changed my password and forgot what it was changed to. So if I ever log out from my phone then that's all she wrote. The email I registered with is no longer valid and all I have currently is a gmail address.

No, it won't let you switch to a gmail address.

No ifs, ands, or buts.

I've tried this before.
