Do other message boards have so many people....

... who cant purchase a common item without first consulting said message board?
Be it shoes, pants, lawn mower, grill, sunglasses, etc
I guess I don't need help with anything. I just find it odd so many people can't make a pretty small decision without asking their forum friends and wanted some answers.

It's like reading reviews from said product. I realize you can read them on amazon/eBay or wherever else you purchase items, but it's that you get feedback on the specific questions you may have.

When you buy something that is very pricey by your standards, the last place you should be getting information on a product is from the seller itself.
You needs recommendations. A message board takes care of that problem.

I agree with that for pricey items. I shouldn't have included lawn mowers in the OP

I'm not a fan of people caring so much about it to start a thread on the help board...Though, I have never had a problem with you in the past
