It wasn't a good thing to do, but I don't think it's worth a permaban.

From my infrequent reads of the OT - it seems that PIIHB is just a standard response - took me a long time to figure out what it even meant it was used so often and so indescriminently. It that was all that was posted, I wouldn't give it any more thought than a cough.
If I were the dad in that situation I would be pissed, but would understand that it should be expected from the OT.
If there were more to the post than the acronym, then yes - bannage and follow up arse-beating would be in order.

tidehater doesn't seem like the type of dude that meant it that the way the dad interpreted it ... just a pretty bad spot to use an overused phrase only exceeded by the kige "I agree with this" pic around here ... but I am sure he didn't intend it to be taken the way it was ...
people .. we are a bunch of screen names around here for the most part .. most don't know each other personally and in some cases, are hundreds of miles apart ... if you take shite said to you -- particularly passing comments in attention threads you yourself start -- personally, you need to stepback and take inventory .. your perspective is outta whack ..
