This thread is born of ignorance. When I say it, I knew that I had to post in this thread in an attempt to educate the poster.
It may be because I am the descendant of educators. It may be because I have a need to help people help themselves. It may be because I care about TigerDroppings.

1. count is a pretty disgusting word IMHO. I would never call a lady a count, nor use it in regular language
2. People who get offended about word usage, in general, pretty much fricking suck.
3. If I was going to call someone a count, I think that TP would be at the top of the list. Mainly b.c she started this whiny arse thread.
4. I am going to use count frequently on here just to piss TP off.

What is offensive about the word? I never use it but it isn't because I find the word grossly inappropriate, it's just not in my vernacular.
It's not a racial slur or anything of the sort, it's a damn curse word. Bitching over this is insatiably whiny to me. People take shite too goddamn serious.
