can we just permaban anyone on the rant/cc claiming to have sources with no link

Seconded.
Just the diarrhea of new threads being started by the minute has destroyed the Rant and CC for all practical purposes.
I respect the tough job the Admins have to do, but maybe a stickied warning from Chicken and a few bans over the weekend for repeat offenders/hard heads might set the tone for next time?

The funny thing is at some point someone will post some real info and won't have a link simply because the media hadn't got wind of it yet. This person will likely be roasted alive

At this point they should probably open up a lsu coaching rumor board just to consolidate all these yahoos into one spot.. People want to read and comment on that crap anyway
