Correct me if I am wrong. OT stands for Off-Topic, right? So retarded shite and circle jerks belong under that non-specific subject. The Weekly Golf Thread was supposed to be a weekly thread about golf, a more specific title yet still vague enough to allow for a wide range of content. However, circle jerk does not fall under the umbrella of "a weekly thread about golf."
So, admitting that there were circle jerks and retarded shite in that thread is not helping your cause.

Someone gets it. Comparing an OT thread to a thread on the MSB is like comparing Shakespeare to a marvel comic.

Hardly ever went in it. Barely crossed my radar. I'm a normal person. So I couldn't care less about the baw and nitro stuff.
I'm actually trying to get back into golf. Im nowhere near as good as you guys and I habe a lot of learning to do when it comes to equipment and how to even adjust my swing. So a golf thread would be a good resource for me down the road.

So, now we can't have a golf thread on MSB or OT? WTF? This sucks. I looked forward every morning to spitting up half my first cup of coffee while catching up on the weekly thread. How many people complaining about a topic does it take to get every thread about it anchored?

There are plenty of topics on every damn board that I think are stupid and a waste of bandwidth, so I just don't read them. I know not everyone enjoys golf. I happen to pretty much despise NBA basketball, but I'm not gonna go crying to Daddy Chicken that it shouldn't be a thread topic.
