Can we get some sort of plus/minus rating for threads

Help us pick out what threads may be of interest, I for instance did not read the thread "Neighborhood watch kills kid" cause I really didn't think it would appeal to me, but I was wrong.
A plus minus system or something may be helpful in discerning quality threads from bullshite.

obviously this doesn't take the IMers into account.. Though they haven't been as much of a problem since a bunch of them went rouge.
